The database is a product in its own right
Find existing and upcoming projects. Research the companies behind them. Investigate equipment, resource conditions, infrastructure, PPAs and O&M. Connect project milestones, counterparties and agreements across the development and operating lifecycle.
Database access can be the entire requirement. A developer researching a market, a supplier looking for projects or an analyst investigating an owner does not need a financing case to use RiskCompass. Models, the Risk Compass and configured agents extend that same intelligence foundation.
The product and the company behind it
RiskCompass is a renewable energy intelligence product developed and operated by Poind Intelligence ApS, Denmark. RiskCompass is not a separate legal entity. Your supplier and contracting party is Poind Intelligence ApS, subject to your applicable agreement.
Different roles. A shared intelligence foundation.
Developers and operators need to understand project prospects and changing conditions. Suppliers and advisers need visibility into projects, markets and the organisations shaping them. Financial institutions and investors need to examine assumptions, exposures and the evidence behind a case.
RiskCompass supports these different starting points with the same connected foundation. Data access can be the entire requirement; analytical models, risk assessments and ongoing monitoring add depth when the work calls for it.
Database. Assessment. Ongoing intelligence.
Atlas is the starting point for market and project context. Explore the public infrastructure map, then discuss the enriched datasets and project records relevant to your work. The public map is a dated source snapshot with partial coverage; it does not save watchlists or run private analysis.
Time Machine brings historical resource conditions and analytical scenarios into the assessment. Examine assumptions for a project or compare their implications across a portfolio.
Digital Twin supports the continuing project view: selected sources, model inputs, assessments and review thresholds, updated at the agreed cadence.
Wind, solar, storage and hybrid assets have different data and modelling requirements. Global coverage does not imply live operating measurements or validated forecasts for every project.
A risk compass through the project lifecycle
The questions change from development through financing and construction to operation. RiskCompass organises indicators and assessments around those phases, with scoring and ongoing monitoring tied to the relevant evidence.
Data enrichment, machine learning and analytical models contribute to the assessment. AI-assisted investigation helps examine developments and prepare reviews. Source facts, estimates and reviewed conclusions remain different things: a score is a starting point for understanding the risk, not a guarantee of an outcome.
Inputs, scoring methods, coverage and refresh frequency are defined for each scope. See the product limitations.
Start with work you can inspect
The public map structures a worldwide energy infrastructure export, including approximately 400,000 wind turbine records, 3.5 million solar installation and array records, and 2.3 million line and cable sections. These are source records, not a verified census of operational assets or a measure of live monitoring coverage.

The separate interactive financial example shows how a change in wind revenue affects debt coverage, with visible inputs and a reproducible calculation. It uses fictional assets, not a customer portfolio. This is one application of connected intelligence, not the definition of the platform or its lifecycle risk score.
The graph behind the geography
The infrastructure work includes a native property graph with typed relationships: recorded operator references, source and voltage tags, geographic containment and candidate grid links. Individual turbine records are part of the regional component graph. Recorded, derived and candidate links are distinguished; geometric proximity is not verified electrical connectivity.
The infrastructure graph currently combines global site records with regional component relationships. The public map has a separate, broader worldwide component import. Weather histories such as ERA5, project agreements and financial assumptions are further layers to scope for your analysis. Source availability, time periods, entity matching and model suitability must be validated; they are not already connected to every mapped asset.
Start with access. Extend the work when you need to.
Standard annual access is €750 per user, excluding applicable VAT. Choose your seats; we confirm access and invoice your company. No introductory call or portfolio brief is required for standard access.
When you need configured agents, private integrations or bespoke analysis, agree sources, permissions, refresh requirements and any additional charges separately. Coverage and model availability vary by dataset and scope.
